Young Adult Cancer Retreat at Camp Korey – April 13th-15th
Camp Korey is hosting a fun and relaxing retreat for young people affected by cancer – and there is room for more participants! Programs at Camp Korey are specifically designed for young people with chronic or life-threatening illnesses. Camp Korey is universally accessible - participants can safely enjoy all activities, with the addition of full medical support, adaptive methods, and a strong, encouraging community. To see a film clip of last year’s retreat, visit http://campkorey.org/camper-programs/young-adult-programs.
This retreat, like all Camp Korey programs, are free of charge for participants and families. Young people ages 17-25 who have been affected by cancer are encouraged to attend, and - you may also bring a friend!
Amazing things happen in an environment like Camp Korey. You will have the opportunity to build friendships with people of varying backgrounds as well as shared health experiences. You will also be given the encouragement and opportunity to try lots of new things, be it on the ropes course, through artistic expression, or at the campfire… Camp Korey is full of life-changing discoveries.
